Swissair, formerly one of the worlds leading airlines stopped flying on March 31st, 2002 after more than 70 years of continued service all over the world.
This site will let those of us who care share and value the memories of this truely wonderful airline . As they said:

swissair. we care.

NOTE: This page is still in the process of being built. Many sections do not work yet, some are half done.

	Explore the history of Swissair. Look at the official Swissar history from their former website, or see their milestones year by year. You can also look at the History of the founding companies Balair and Ad Astra, about Crossair and the 'new' Balair, or just have a look at important persons within Swissair. Last but not least there is a subcategory for Swiss, the new swiss national airline.
	State of the art of 7 decades! See the complete swissair fleet! Includes the history of every aircraft ever flown by Swissair with Pictures of each aircraft. Also in this section you'll find the Fleets of Balair, Crossair, Swissair Express and an attempt to show a consolidated Qualiflyer Group Fleet. As an additional subcategory you'll also find the fleet of the SLS-Swiss Aviation School plus an overview about Swissair's different Liveries over the years.
	The Swissair Route Network over the ages with Info about the different destinations. Where possible with inaugural date and the equipment used for the specific route.

Sorted by years and themes in order to easier find your preferred advertisements! Also in this section you'll find an overview of Swissair Commercials on Youtube and other video sharing sites.
	Check out the different ages of Design in the Airline industry... See the Development of the Swissair Logos and Liveries. Browse through the Uniforms of different ages. Or simply look at the Logos that Swissair had for each of its destinations in the early years...
	The SAirGroup.... With the great beginning and the shameful end... An overview of the SAirGroup, parent company of Swissair, and how it looked like in 2001, with a small portrait of the firms within the conglomerate around SAirLines, SAir Logistics, SAirRelations and SAirServices. You can also compare financial data of the last couple of years of the SAirGroup (1995 through 2000) and see how the owners and the participations of SAir were at the time of the demise of the group.
	Overview of the Qualiflyer Group and its affiliated airlines. With History, Fleet and further facts of the member-airlines in 2001. See what has become of some of the great names of aviation history. Also, you'll find a short description of the Swissair Frequent Flyer Programme Qualiflyer.
	The Place for everything else! Here you can find scans of onboard Menues, Safety on Board cards, Inflight Magazines and Tickets. Pictures of Swissair Give-Aways and Memorabilia. See some of the Awards the Airline has won throughout the years, and download some goodies such as Swissair Screensavers.
	The internet is vast, and this is not the only site about Swissair and definitely not about aviation. This site has over 200 pages, therefore navigation is not always easy. If looking for something specific, such as an aircraft, a registration or similiar, the search function might be the quickest way to find your info.
The Sitemap will also give you an up-to-date overview on all the sites already done and linked. Following a short explanation on how to navigate through the regular sites:

On the Left side bar you can choose the section you want to see, as shown on the left .

Once in a category, you can see the available subcategories on top next to the header of the category. You can always get back to the main Category by clicking on the header. To change the category use the sidebar as mentioned above.
